1/15/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted JaCaeri upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, JaCaeri appeared to be in a good mood. QMHP-C engaged mother in a discussion to determine behaviors since the last session. Mother reports he continues to struggle with controlling his anger with behaviors lasting for 20 minutes in duration.. 2. Behavior: JaCaeri needed redirection from QMHP-C for displaying hyperactive behaviors as he was leaving the room when discussing his challenges for aggressive behaviors with behaviors lasting about 10 minutes in duration. 1.Intervention: JaCaeri was modeled calming skills and role-played several ways to demonstrate positive behaviors. JaCaeri was probed on his efforts to decreasing aggressive behaviors at home, school and community. JaCaeri was provided techniques that he will feel comfortable utilizing to assist him with his anger such as walking away and not using hurtful words, not talking back, and threatening gestures. 2. Intervention: JaCaeri was provided the opportunity to recognize how he can maintain control of his anger throughout the week and provided QMHP-C with an update on the following counseling session. 1. Response: JaCaeri reported that he walks away when angry, however JaCaeri indicated that his mother continues to argue which his anger and frustrations will increase. JaCaeri admitted that he verbalizes hurtful words to his mother and do not care about her feelings. Mrs. Brpwnh discussed this is the things that make her upset when they cannot have their way this is what she gets in return from all of her children. 2. Response: JaCaeri continued to indicate to QMHP-C as he mentioned to QMHP-C earlier in the week when discussing anger management that when he is mad he is mad and it takes a lot to calm him down. He continued to discuss with QMHP-C that he feels as though is mother chooses sides at times when it comes to him and his siblings.
